Galactica CyberSecurity (“Galactica”) provides enterprise-grade cybersecurity and managed IT services (“Services”) through a network of third-party resellers (“Resellers”). Galactica operates online websites at https://www.GetGalactica.com, as well as mobile and web applications, integrations, and plugins (collectively, the “Sites”). The Sites provide information about the Services, identify purchasers of the Services (“Customers”), potential purchasers, and introduce them to Resellers. Galactica respects the privacy of others.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) covers how Galactica treats personal information that Galactica receives, tracks, or collects in connection with your visit, access, or use of one or both of the Sites (whether as a Customer, Reseller, visitor, or otherwise) (collectively “you” or “your”). This Policy tells you what information we gather, how we may use or disclose it, how to review or edit it, and our efforts to protect it. By visiting, accessing, or using the Sites, you accept and agree to the most recent version of this Policy, as well as the Sites’ Terms of Use. Customers and Resellers may also be subject to additional contractual obligations regarding use of the Sites or Services.

You agree not to access the Sites from a jurisdiction that has data or personally identifiable information protection requirements greater than those provided herein.

Notice of Information We Collect or Track

We may collect or track the following information:

Personal Information

Name; unique identifiers; login information; personal and business contact information; billing and payment data; device information; browser and system information; third-party platform information; usage activity; transactional information; content submissions; and personal correspondence.

We may also receive information from business partners, Resellers, integrations, plugins, or referrals. This information may be combined with information collected directly from you. If you use any portion of our services that interacts with a third-party application, we may receive additional information, and we may share your information with those third parties.

If you provide information directly to us by email or other means, we may retain and add it to your profile.

Do Not Track Signals

We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. Third-party sites that push content to our Sites may track your browsing activities over time and across websites.

Information Collected, Tracked, or Analyzed by Third Parties

We may permit advertisers, partners, and Resellers to collect information from the Sites. Third parties may also analyze data collected from the Sites and may collect personally identifiable information over time and across different websites.

If you access the Sites using a mobile device, additional information may be collected, including device name, phone number, geolocation, contact lists (with express agreement), and information about mobile applications (with express agreement).

We may provide information about you or your business, including aggregated consumer data, to affiliates, Resellers, web developers, or other businesses or individuals. We may share aggregated or anonymized information publicly or with third parties.

Legal Compliance

We may disclose information to law enforcement, government agencies, or in response to subpoenas, or where required by law.

Sale or Transfer of Business Assets

If Galactica buys or sells assets, merges, is acquired, or enters bankruptcy, collected information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

Disclaimer

We cannot guarantee that personal information or communications will never be disclosed in ways not described in this Policy (e.g., unlawful interception, system breaches).

SMS Disclosure (Added for Compliance)

Galactica CyberSecurity does not share SMS opt-in data, SMS consent, or phone numbers collected for text messaging with any third parties, affiliates, or non-affiliates.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

Under California Civil Code §1798.83, you may request information regarding how Galactica shares certain categories of personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.

Abuse of Terms of Use Agreement

Galactica is not responsible for the use of personal information by third parties, including Resellers.

The Sites may contain links or integrations with third-party sites or plug-ins. Galactica is not responsible for those sites’ privacy practices or terms. Users should review the privacy policies of any external site.

Third-Party Applications

Galactica may provide access to third-party apps or plug-ins. Use is voluntary and at your own risk. Galactica is not responsible for third-party privacy or security practices.

Age Restrictions; Children’s Privacy

The Sites and Services are intended solely for adults acting in a business capacity. They are not directed to children, are not marketed to children, and contain no content designed to appeal to children.

Galactica does not knowingly collect, use, retain, or disclose personal information from anyone who is 13 years of age or younger. You may not use, register for, or submit information through the Sites or Services if you are 13 or younger. We do not create profiles of, serve targeted advertising to, or condition participation in any activity on information provided by anyone in that age group.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone 13 or younger, we will delete that information from our records promptly, and we will direct our service providers to do the same.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and you believe a child 13 or younger has provided personal information to us, contact us at legal@GetGalactica.com or 406.534.0911 and we will delete it. We will honor a verified parental request to review, delete, or stop any further collection of a child’s information, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and its implementing rule, 16 CFR Part 312.

Analytics and Advertising Providers

The Sites use the following third-party services, each of which may set cookies or similar identifiers and receive information about your visit:

• Google Analytics 4, for traffic and usage measurement. You may opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Meta Pixel, for advertising measurement and audience building. You may manage your preferences in your Facebook ad settings.
• Hotjar, for aggregated behavior analytics such as scroll depth and click heatmaps. You may opt out through Hotjar’s do-not-track page.
• LeadConnector, which powers our chat widget, contact forms, and appointment booking, and processes the information you submit through them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use these services to collect information from anyone 13 or younger.

Choice / Opt Out

Users may:

• Disable scripts (may affect functionality)
• Opt out of interest-based advertising
• Opt out of application data sharing
• Opt out of location tracking

• Unsubscribe from emails
• Delete their account (subject to contractual terms)

SMS Communications (Added for Compliance)

You may opt out of SMS/text messaging at any time by replying STOP to any message.

SMS opt-in data, consent information, and phone numbers will not be shared with any third parties, except aggregators or service providers necessary to deliver the text messaging service.

Marketing text messages and automated or prerecorded calls are sent only to people who have given prior express written consent, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help.

Email Communications

Every commercial email we send identifies the sender accurately, carries a subject line that reflects its contents, includes our physical mailing address, and provides a working unsubscribe link, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. Unsubscribe requests are honored within ten business days, and we do not sell or transfer an address after it has been unsubscribed. Transactional and service messages relating to an active account may continue after you unsubscribe from marketing email.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no Internet transmission is fully secure. Emails and posts to the Sites are unencrypted. You acknowledge these limitations.
